This all started with one rifle my wife got my for my birthday. I saw some markings on the top and got curious (this should be no shock to anybody who knows me) and started researching.

Turns out, it was a Mosin Nagant 91/30 rifle in a sporterized stock.

Well, that was it. I was hooked, that one rifle turned into quite the collection of WWII firearms which then expanded into other areas of collecting.

This turned into a deep passion and the desire to find more and more military history. It got to the point where I wanted to help others acquire items for their collections and that’s how Matt’s Militaria was born.

In 2015, I purchased 50 items to see how this all worked. 10 years later, that one shelf of items has turned into a 1400 square foot warehouse with over 2000 items in it. As my customers know, I am always purchasing more to offer up to y’all too! I purchase large shipments of items and have the saying that I will purchase 100 items just so you can pick out the one you want.

Here we are in 2025 and, after over 20,000 packages shipped, we work harder than ever to find as much history as possible to add to collections!
